​This project involved the design and refurbishment works of a beach house overlooking Praia Grande. The update included reorganizing the layout and modernizing the home to fit current needs.

The living areas feature terracotta tiles, oak, walnut timber, and natural stone. They are organised around a central hub where the staircase and fireplace serve as both functional and visual anchors.

The South facing bedroom wing opens onto a deck, creating a direct connection between the private and communal spaces. Bathrooms evoke a timeless aesthetic, blending soft micro-cement flooring with vibrant, colorful tiles.

The house fully insulated in eco-friendly cork cladding and fitted with energy-efficient, minimalist windows. A rooftop solar PV system with a peak capacity of 5200Wp complements the water-based underfloor heating and air cooling system, ensuring a balance between comfort and energy efficiency.
